Introduction

This specialized training program is designed by Global Horizon Training Center to enhance the mechanical proficiency of professionals working with wellhead systems and Christmas Tree assemblies in the oil and gas industry. The program focuses on the structural understanding, operational integrity, and maintenance of wellhead equipment in accordance with international standards such as API 6A.

Participants will gain in-depth technical knowledge of wellhead components, material classifications, sealing and lubrication technologies, and pressure control systems. The program emphasizes operational excellence, safety compliance, and reliability through structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), advanced maintenance practices, and pressure testing protocols.

Objectives

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the full mechanical structure and functionality of wellhead and Christmas Tree systems

  • Interpret API 6A specifications, including material and temperature classifications

  • Apply advanced lubrication and sealing techniques for high-pressure systems

  • Operate and maintain wellhead equipment using industry-standard procedures

  • Conduct pressure testing and interpret results accurately

  • Verify well integrity barriers to ensure operational safety and compliance

Course Methodology
