The term ‘Waste Management’ collectively means the management of waste from its inception to the final stage of disposal. Thus, as one single unit it encompasses right from the collection, disposal, recycling, to which the processes of monitoring and regulation, respectively belong to, along with the legal frameworks that enable the occurrence of waste management.

By attending this training course, participants will be able to know how to lessen management costs and create commercial opportunities by using a range of tools to explore opportunities in waste prevention, re-use, and recycling. Participants will also have an insight into the advantages of managing waste and controlling pollution through understanding energy generation from biological waster - including food waste.
