Introduction

Control rooms are the operational nerve centers of transmission pipeline facilities, responsible for monitoring, controlling, and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of oil, gas, and other products. Operators must manage real-time data, respond to system abnormalities, and coordinate field operations while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.

This 10-day advanced training program, developed by Global Horizon Training Center, provides a comprehensive approach to control room operations for transmission pipeline systems. It covers SCADA systems, monitoring techniques, operational procedures, alarm management, safety protocols, and emergency response.

Participants will gain the knowledge and practical skills required to operate control rooms effectively, manage pipeline operations, and respond to incidents in real time.

Course Objectives

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand pipeline control room operations and responsibilities
  • Operate SCADA systems for monitoring and control
