Introduction

This training course in Supply Chain Management has been designed to cover the essential aspects of Procurement operations management and Supply Chain supervision. Day (4) Goals and objectives of Supplier Management

  • Key roles and responsibilities.

  • Involving the relevant stakeholders.

  • Identifying risks and their impact/probability.

Day (5) The Strategic Warehouse

  • Defining the role and responsibilities of the warehouse function.

  • Utilizing the supply chain compass within the warehouse.

  • Space allocation and product-driven category management strategies.

  • Inventory management strategies – including optimum stock levels, obsolete/slow-moving stock.

  • Effective forecasting and planning.
