Introduction

This training program is designed for professionals who are responsible for managing and leading emergency response operations on shore oil & gas facilities. It aims to enhance the capabilities of On Scene Commanders in dealing with a variety of emergency scenarios, including oil spills, fires, explosions, and security threats. The course provides a comprehensive approach to incident management, focusing on strategic decision-making, leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Day 4: Crisis Management and Decision-Making

  • Psychological resilience and stress management.

  • Case studies of major on shore oil & gas incidents.

Day 5: Post-Incident Review and Continuous Improvement

  • Conducting post-incident debriefings and reports.

  • Identifying lessons learned and implementing corrective actions.

  • Enhancing emergency response plans and procedures.

  • Evaluating performance and continuous improvement.

  • Final assessment and feedback session.
