Introduction

This Smart Phone Repair training course is designed to meet the needs of the industry. It allows the participants to form the knowledge and skills needed to repair mobile phones using different techniques to isolate the fault or the damaged part in a very efficient and easy way.

This training will allow participants to understand the troubleshooting process, by Defining the symptoms then identifying and isolating the location of the problem after that replacing the suspected component, finally re-test the component thoroughly to be sure that the problem had been solved.

Course Objective

This course will allow participants to:

  • Have the basic understanding & the needed knowledge to perform the repair.

  • Preparing the proper tools and environment for repairing.

  • Identifying the damaged components.

  • The methods used to replace the damaged parts.

  •  Safety procedures and proper handling of tools and test equipment.

  • Understand the software of smart phone.

Target Audience for Smart Phone Repair

Anyone who is interested in pursuing a career in Smart Phone Repair or anyone who is interested in understanding about mobile phone repair.

Prerequisites

No special requirements. If you would like to become a professional Phone and Tablet Repair Technician, you should attend this course.

Course Outlines 

Day 1

  • Basics of mobile communication and electronics
  • Study of Digital Electronics.

  • Details of various components used in mobile phones

  • Assembling & disassembling of different types of mobile phones

  • Use of various tools & instruments used in mobile phone repairing.

  • Study of basic parts of mobile phones (mic, speaker, vibrator, LCD, antenna, etc.).

  • Testing of various parts with multimeter.

  • Basic Circuit Board/ Motherboard Introduction

Day 2

  • Flashing

  • Formatting

  • Unlocking

  • Use of secret codes

  • Downloading

Day 3

  • Introduction and study of Printed Circuit Board (Motherboard)

  • Names of different BGA ICs.

  • Soldering & disordering components using soldering iron.

  • Soldering & disordering components using rework station.

  • Working on SMD / BGA ICs and the PCB.

Day 4 & 5

  • Fault finding & troubleshooting.

  • Steps for repairing hardware and software problems.

  • Circuit tracing, jumpering techniques and solutions.

  • Troubleshooting through schematic diagrams.

  • Advanced troubleshooting techniques.

  • Various other technical support websites.
