Introduction

This conference is designed for individuals involved in scaffolding, rigging, and lifting, or those supervising these tasks. It covers various types of scaffolding, including tube & fitting, mobile scaffolding, and system scaffolding. Participants will learn about rigging and lifting techniques, including selecting and inspecting lifting tackle, safely connecting to loads, and moving loads efficiently. The program provides essential skills for safe and effective scaffolding, rigging, and lifting operations.

Conference Methodology

The training course will combine classroom presentations i.e. OHP & Powerpoint, with practical assessments, supported by video / DVD material. Delegates will be expected to participate actively in relating the principles of erecting & inspecting scaffolding to the particular needs of their industry and they will have to evidence their understanding of the knowledge gained by answering a post-conference questionnaire.
