Introduction

Accurate flow measurement is essential for operational efficiency, process control, and custody transfer in the oil and gas industry. Reliable measurement systems support production optimization, regulatory compliance, and financial accuracy across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

This program, designed by Global Horizon Training Center, equips participants with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to select, install, operate, and maintain flow measurement systems used in oil and gas processing facilities.

Course Objectives

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand core principles of flow measurement in oil and gas processes
  • Identify major flow meter types and their applications
  • Select appropriate measurement technologies based on process conditions
  • Interpret flow data and evaluate measurement accuracy
  • Apply best practices for installation and system configuration
  • Perform calibration and routine maintenance activities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot measurement errors
  • Ensure compliance with custody transfer and industry standards
