Introduction

Occupational safety and health systems include a set of standards and practices aimed at protecting production elements—especially the human element—from accidents and injuries in the workplace.   • Fall Protection and Prevention – Scaffolding and Ladders

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Respiratory Protection Programs

  • Hand Tools and Excavation Works

Day 3:

  • Use of Explosives in Construction Operations

  • Firefighting – Fire Extinguishers – Classification

  • Materials Used for Fire Suppression

Day 4:

  • Modern Fire Alarm Systems

  • Automatic Fire Suppression Systems

  • Communication of Hazardous Chemical Information

  • Ergonomics – Welding and Cutting Activities

Day 5:

  • Radiation Safety – Flammable and Combustible Materials

  • Cranes, Excavators, Lifts, Elevators, and Conveyor Belts
