Introduction

Maritime security is a critical component of global trade, requiring robust systems to protect ships, ports, and cargo from threats such as terrorism, piracy, smuggling, and unauthorized access. The International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), establishes a comprehensive framework to ensure maritime security worldwide.

This program, developed by Global Horizon Training Center, provides participants with a thorough understanding of ISPS requirements and their practical application in both ship and port environments. It focuses on security risk assessment, development and implementation of security plans, compliance procedures, and coordination between stakeholders.
