Introduction

This Global Horizon Training Center advanced training course that tackles Heavy Equipment inspection and safety is aimed at equipping participants with the necessary information, knowledge, and skills needed in the proper and safe operation of Heavy Equipment, Maintenance, and Testing Inspection. The training course will focus on the precautions, practices, and procedures for how to provide a safe working environment to the workers and for HE operators, HE supervisors, and Safety Officers in charge of Heavy Equipment operations.

  • Understand the safe operating procedures and inspection of Heavy Equipment.
  • Differentiate the different types of Heavy Equipment and their specifications.
  • Understand the inspection procedures for each system in the heavy equipment.
  • Know the most common failures in heavy equipment.
  • Have a clear understanding of the regulatory requirement and safe practices necessary to safely operate heavy equipment.
  • Explain the elements of an Internal Traffic Control Plan and the hazards ITCPs are designed to mitigate.
