Introduction

Global Horizon Training Center presents this training program in Documentary Film Making and Creation for professional documentary filmmakers and amateurs, in terms of photography, direction, and presentation, in order to acquire a wide range of skills in Documentary Film Making and Creation.

Documentary Film Making and Creation is a 5-day training program focusing on the skills and techniques needed to become a confident self-shooter and self-editor and movie creator. Taught by professionals experienced as a documentary filmmakers, the program provides essential training in the use of professional cameras and industry-standard editing software.

Training Program Objectives

After completing the program, participants will be able to learn:

  • Understand the current context of documentary filmmaking by examining the history of the documentary genre, its different forms and the current market.
  • Be able to proficiently operate a digital camera, record sound, light a scene and edit.

  • Particle systems, vacuum distortion, and simulation.
