The AutoCAD (Intermediate) training program is designed by Global Horizon Training Center to build upon foundational AutoCAD knowledge and advance participants’ capabilities in producing precise, efficient, and professionally structured technical drawings.
This program focuses on enhancing productivity through advanced drafting techniques, improved drawing organization, and the application of industry-standard workflows. Participants will develop deeper expertise in annotation, dynamic blocks, external references, layout management, and data extraction—enabling them to handle more complex design tasks across engineering, construction, and architectural environments.
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
Apply advanced drafting and editing techniques efficiently
Manage complex drawings using layers, blocks, and references
Create and utilize dynamic blocks for reusable components
Implement annotation scaling and advanced dimensioning standards
Work with external references (Xrefs) for collaborative projects
Develop and manage layouts, viewports, and plotting setups
Enhance productivity through shortcuts, customization, and tool palettes
Extract and manage drawing data for reporting and documentation
The program is delivered using a highly practical and application-oriented approach:
Instructor-led interactive sessions
Live demonstrations of intermediate AutoCAD techniques
Hands-on exercises and guided practice
Real-world case studies and drawing scenarios
Individual assignments and project-based learning
Continuous feedback and technical coaching
Organizations will gain:
