  • Loading and unloading processes, stowage planning

  • Port logistics, documentation, and customs clearance

Day 4: Documentation, Legal Aspects, and Marine Insurance

  • Key shipping documents: Bill of Lading, manifest, mate’s receipt, sea waybill

  • Functions and legal nature of the Bill of Lading

  • Carriage of Goods by Sea Act (COGSA), Hague-Visby Rules, Hamburg Rules
