This course was designed for personnel who seek methods to conduct a thorough investigation of maritime incidents and helps identify and assess the risks in order to provide effective solutions and establish the appropriate safeguards.
This course also aims to deliver knowledge and skills required for accident and incident investigators or persons intending to become accident investigators, according to IMO Res. A849(20) - Code for the Investigation of Marine Casualties & Incidents as amended by ResA884(21) and other Maritime Industry guidance.
